Completing Art

(This page is only for students who were notified by email that they have not completed the UW’s admission requirement in the Fine, Visual, or Performing Arts.)

The offer of admission you received is made with a provision: You must complete this requirement once you enroll at the UW.

Please pay attention to this provision to your offer of admission. If you do not complete this required course within your first academic year at the UW, your access to registration for future quarters may be withdrawn. Please notify the Office of Admissions once you complete the requirement.

When must I complete this requirement?

If you do not complete this required course within your first academic year at the UW, your access to registration for future quarters may be withdrawn.

Admission vs. graduation requirements

Some courses will meet both the admission requirement and the graduation requirement the Visual, Literary, and Performing Arts (VLPA) graduation requirement. However, the admission (FVPA) and graduation (VLPA) requirements are not synonymous, so please use the list below as guidelines for those that will meet the admission requirement.

If you are also working on courses to satisfy other admission requirements, those courses must be completed before you enroll at UW. Please do not hesitate to contact the Office of Admissions if you have any questions concerning subject requirements or any other issues concerning your admission.
