All applicants are required to complete a minimum level of preparation in six subject areas, known as the core subject requirements. Because these are admission (not graduation) requirements, they must be completed before enrolling at the UW.
Do You Have What It Takes?
Every aspect of your University of Washington Seattle application—grades, courses you’ve taken, test scores, essays, activities, achievements, and your personal history—is important. While grades and test scores are essential elements, they do not define who you are. Use the application to show us that you have what it takes to be a successful student and a contributor at the University of Washington.
