Join us for a Husky Hangout, and connect with two current UW students for a 30-minute virtual hangout (Zoom) to get your student life questions answered. Can’t make a Hangout? Malikah says: Anytime someone comes to visit me, I always take them to Gas Works Park! There's such a beautiful view of the Seattle skyline and it's so close to campus. I've also gotten some great photos there in the day and it's also an awesome spot for a picnic!

Nicole says: I visited a lot of colleges, but I didn’t feel like any college had everything I was looking for until I visited UW. While I wanted a school with a strong business program, I also wanted to continue doing theater in college and try out a lot of different activities. There were so many ways to get involved both on and off campus at UW, and I loved how dynamic the student body was. The beautiful campus definitely didn’t hurt either.

Justin says: My favorite place to study on campus is the Life Sciences Building! It's a beautiful, modern building with practical study spots for both groups and individuals, a full-fledged cafe, and a patio to enjoy those days when the sun decides to visit campus.

Graham says: Every Friday night before football games, the Husky Marching Band dresses in crazy costumes and has a pep rally/parade throughout Greek Row which culminating on the steps of Suzzallo Library on Red Square. It is an incredibly fun and high energy experience and really hypes students up for gameday!

Zahra says: My top suggestion for a visitor in Seattle is to visit the University of Washington Waterfront Activities Center down by Husky Stadium and rent a canoe/kayak. From there you can explore the arboretum, lake union, and lake washington!

Renee says: My favorite place to study is in Allen! On the first floor there's a lot of white boards and large tables that you can you use, I usually go there when I am studying with my friends. If I am just studying by myself I'll go 2nd or 3rd if I want to study in a quieter environment. Allen is also really close to Starbucks, so I don't have to go too far for a coffee break!
