Parking

Parking permits may be purchased at any gatehouse location as you arrive on campus. You’ll be charged in advance for the length of your visit. Gatehouse staff accept Visa/Mastercard.

For disability parking and building access information, please ask the gatehouse attendant.

You may park in any lot you’re directed to by a gatehouse attendant. However, for a less expensive option, Transportation Services recommends parking in the E-18 or E-1 parking lots, located off Montlake Blvd. NE. Enter the lots from NE Wahkiakum Rd. and Walla Walla Rd. NE. Both lots have plenty of space available.

Note: The walk from the E-18 and E-1 parking lots to the Husky Union Building (HUB) is uphill with a fair number of stairs. Please consider this when making your parking decision, and give your group ample time.

E-18 Parking lot information

Enter the E-18 parking lot off Wahkiakum Rd. There is one pay station in the E-18 lot: on the south side, near the entrance to the Husky Track. Parking costs $6.75/day; Visa and Mastercard are accepted. Payment must be made when you park.

Accessing the E-1 parking lot

Enter the E-1 parking lot off Walla Walla Rd. NE. Using your Visa, Mastercard or Discover credit/debit card at the entrance reader, fully insert your card into the slot labeled “Credit Card.” When the display text reads “Please remove credit card,” pull the card from the slot. The reader will verify the card’s information, and the gate will lift, allowing entry.

To exit the E-1 parking lot, you must use the same credit/debit card used at entry. Fully insert the card into the slot labeled “Credit Card.” When the display text reads “Please remove credit card,” pull the card from the slot. The reader will verify the card’s information and charge the card. The gate will lift, allowing you to exit. Park costs $6.75/day.

E-1 entrance reader
The cost to park is $6/day and can be paid by credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, and Discover) only at E-1.

How will I be able to exit E-1?

At the exit reader, using the same credit/debit card as the one used at entry, fully insert the card into the slot labeled “Credit Card.” When the display text reads “Please remove credit card,” pull the card out of the slot. The reader will then verify that the card’s information is the same as the one used at entry, at which point the the charge will be applied to the account and the gate will lift, allowing you to exit.
