The University of Washington Campus Visit Program is unable to provide mobility assistance of any kind for campus tours. However, a tour route without stairs is available. Find mobility resources outside the University.
The 75-minute student-led walking tour will take you through the heart of campus. You will cover about 1.4 miles as you explore upper campus, including the Liberal Art Quadrangle, Drumheller Fountain, Sylvan Grove and more.

First-year information sessions last approximately 30 minutes and outline the freshman admission and application process with time for questions.
All prospective transfer students are invited to attend Transfer Thursday prior to applying to the UW. The afternoon includes a transfer admission presentation, followed by information sessions or drop-in advising by different academic programs and departments. These vary from week to week. Consult the schedule to choose a Thursday with the department availability that’s best for you before registering for a Transfer Thursday on the calendar below.

What’s it really like to live on campus? This 45-minute guided tour of a residence hall, presented by Housing & Food Services, will give you a sneak peek. Please note that this tour requires a separate registration from the general campus tour and first-year information session.

Computer Science & Engineering, Paul G. Allen School of
HYBRID INFO SESSION + TOUR
Learn more about the Allen School and direct-to-major admission. Attend in-person or virtually. For those attending in person, an optional tour of our two Allen School buildings will directly follow the information session. Please note that this session is intended for current high school students interested in applying to the UW and the Allen School as first-year students.
Business, Foster School of
INFO SESSION + TOUR
Current high school students interested in studying business at the UW are encouraged to attend an information session to learn more about admission, academic requirements, career options and scholarship opportunities. Sessions are led by a Foster School academic adviser and a current student ambassador. A group tour, led by the student ambassador, will follow the session.
Engineering, College of
TOUR
This 45-minute tour led by a current undergraduate engineering student explores the engineering departments and resources on campus. The tour is 1 km/0.6 mi and includes minimal stairs/incline. Please note that the tour is outside only and does not include going into any buildings.
Music, School of
INFO SESSION
All first-year and transfer students are encouraged to attend a School of Music information session to learn more about what the School of Music has to offer, as well as to find answers to questions about admission, auditions and life as a UW music student.
Visit events are categorized into three groups. Read the tour title and description carefully to be sure you are signing up for the event that’s the best fit for your interests.
