Group visitation agreement

We are looking forward to your upcoming visit to our campus! Please read the policies and procedures outlined in this group visitation agreement, and indicate on the group tour request web form that you have read this agreement and agree to its conditions.

1. I understand that the group tour is intended for prospective undergraduate students.
2. I understand that my reservation is not complete until I check the signature box at the end of the form, indicating that I have read this agreement and agree to its conditions.
3. I understand that if my group is running late, the University of Washington is not obligated to accommodate the originally scheduled agenda. If an unforeseen incident delays our arrival, I will notify the Office of Admissions (206-543-9686) immediately.
4. I understand that my group should try to arrive on campus 30 minutes prior to our scheduled visit to allow adequate time for parking and check-in.
5. I understand that if I schedule a visit with another department or program on campus, I am expected to inform the Office of Admissions.
6. I understand that student tour groups are often separated into smaller groups to ensure the best possible Husky Experience. I understand that we must provide one adult per fifteen 9-12th grade students and one adult per ten students below 9th grade. I understand that it is my responsibility to ensure that I have enough adult supervision (21+) in each group. I understand that the University of Washington reserves the right to cancel tours if my group arrives without the required amount of chaperones.
7. I understand that it is my responsibility (or of my chaperones) to control excessive talking, lagging behind or any actions that are not appropriate for a campus tour. I understand that tour guides have the discretion to cancel tours in which inappropriate behaviors are occurring. Furthermore, the Office of Admissions reserves the right to deny future visits based on past behavior.
8. I understand that if I need to cancel my group’s visit, I must contact the Office of Admissions at least two (2) business days before the visit at 206-543-9686. I understand that if I cancel with less than two (2) business days’ notice, the University of Washington reserves the right to deny future visits.
9. I understand that, if arriving by bus or large van, there are designated parking areas for such vehicles. I have reviewed the map indicating where the visitor and bus/van parking areas are located.
10. I understand that the Office of Admissions at the University of Washington does not pay for parking, and I will assume responsibility for this expense.
