First-year students can apply to the UW to begin autumn quarter or winter quarter (U.S. applicants only)

  • Students need to complete RE 250 and receive a grade about 3.0 and be in good standing with the university in order to declare the major.
  • Students who meet these requirements can declare the major at any time by contacting academic advisor at remajor@uw.edu.
  • Transfer Students: Students transferring to the University may take RE 250 in their first quarter and become eligible for the major in the following quarter.
