Favorite Place on Campus
Blocked Out, the university’s first monument to diversity. I love that it was conceived by undergraduate students and recognizes all the unheard voices in our struggle to achieve collective liberation. The pedestal’s imprinted footprints also leave room for future advocates to step into. All these elements capture what it means to be a student at the UW and the vibe here.
Favorite Place off Campus
Chihuly Garden and Glass. The bold, beautiful blooms and the live demonstrations by local artists are a sight to behold.
