Favorite Place on Campus – Walking down Boat Street along Portage Bay. Having mostly lived in land-locked states, it is so fun to have easy access to the water. I recommend stopping at Saint Bread to enjoy a savory or sweet treat while you take in the lakeview.
Favorite Place off Campus – Jefferson Park in the Beacon Hill neighborhood. This park has it all, a paved path, soccer fields, tennis/pickleball courts, a skate park, playgrounds, and it is located right next to a golf course and driving range. Most notably, the park offers a lovely view of downtown Seattle, West Seattle, and the Olympic mountains. I love to walk around the park, find a quiet place to read, or enjoy a scenic picnic here.
Why the UW? – UW is a top tier University nestled in the beautiful city of Seattle, surrounded by stunning mountains, bodies of water, and endless trees! UW has incredible student resources and global partnerships and is committed to innovation, research, and diversity. UW is a place where students find success, not only during their time on campus, but well into their future careers. I look forward to connecting with international students and working through the admissions process together!
