Preparation for your intended major is a factor in the review of your UW transfer application. Use this worksheet to help you plan for admission to your intended major and for UW general education requirements.

Department admission information

This major is capacity-constrained. Meeting minimum standards guarantees consideration for the major but does not guarantee acceptance into the major.

A minimum grade of 2.0 required in each course. Completion of most supplemental coursework in physics, math and chemistry recommended, with a minimum 2.50 GPA for any such work completed at the time of application.

The application deadline is the second Friday in October each year.
