Thank you for your interest in visiting the University of Washington. The Campus Visit Program offers guided walking tours of campus to groups of 15 or more (smaller groups are asked to attend our regularly scheduled tours). To provide you with the best possible visit, we request at least four weeks’ advance notice of your visit.
The typical group visit includes a 45-minute walking tour of campus led by a UW student. For arrangements to visit academic departments, please contact that department directly.
Before requesting a tour please read the following:
- We can give special tours Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., except state holidays.
Note: Tours that begin at 10:00 a.m. or 10:30 a.m., due to conflicts with our regularly scheduled tours, may not be possible.
- We do not give special tours on Saturday or Sunday.
Self-Guided Walking Tours
Self-guided tours are available for those groups unable to arrange a special tour or who are unable to join the hosted tour. Please download the Take Yourself on a Tour booklet
Submit Your Request for a
Special Tour of the UW Campus
The UW receives more requests* than we are able to accommodate; please note this submission is only a request. Our office will contact you once a student tour guide has been assigned to your group.
Our special tour schedule for the remainder of the academic year has reached capacity. At this time we can no longer accept special tour requests for the months of May and June.
*When fulfilling requests, our first priority is for juniors and seniors in high school.
