Tell Us

The launch — of a boat or a rocketship or an expedition — is the beginning of a journey, not the end. So, too, with a website: It's never finished. And we like it that way.  Our team will continue to expand on what you see here, and we are eager for your ideas and suggestions for improvement.

We hope you'll try it out, play around with it, and tell us what you think, so you, too, can see how we improve the experience and make it what you need as you — or those you counsel — start or continue on your admissions journey.

  • I wanted to compliment your university on its online admissions information and application. Both are the most user-friendly I have looked at so far. S. is my oldest child so this is the first time we are engaging in the college application process. The process is unexpectedly stressful. The clarity of the admissions information and your application is appreciated.

  • Paula, I must compliment you and yours...WHAT A PLEASURE!! The new and very improved web site is user friendly, something I never would have said in the past.

    Bravo,

  • Love the new site. Clean, snappy and easy to navigate. Well done!

I did notice on the home page under "we walk backwards for you," it says "Take campus tour." Very forceful or Russian, can't tell which. :)

    LOL. We fixed it.

  • I like it, especially "get your feet wet."

I had a question about the blog page. Is that curated, or did you pick a few blogs and have them populate the page(s) automatically?

    Bob Roseth
    Director, UW News & Information

The blogsite isn't "curated": nothing is censored or extracted within each blog, which populate the page automatically. We didn't "pick a few blogs." Last spring we invited all UW students to send us links to their existing blogs, and we encourage more to do so.

  • You breathed life back into the website! It's aesthetically pleasing. The colors are fantastic. The white background gives it a clean feeling. The pictures of students in action are great. The language on the website is great, too. For example, I Applied. Now What? and Transcripts? Nope…No, really. The Admissions Updates and News reels are awesome.

This website exudes so much energy and excitement, it’s contagious. I think the applicants will catch on.

  • It’s a thing of beauty. I’m so glad to finally get to use it.

  • You did a really great job on the website. I see: modern and dynamic.

  • Fabulous!! Wow, it's great. I'm having so much fun looking around.

This will be fun exploring. BEAUTIFUL, and nicely done. I especially love the Why UW part. :-) Brava!

  • Haha! On the Stuff We Like page, you list IVAR's! Ivar Haglund was a COUG! At least you recognize good things in a nonpartisan way!
