Transfer Admission & Planning

Transfer Admission & Planning (known as the TAP) is the essential publication for prospective transfer students. A 24-page booklet, it offers sections on majors and academic planning, University admission policies and requirements, application timelines and procedures, transfer credit policies, financial aid and scholarships, and campus visitation. It also includes a resource guide to academic and student services and workbook items to keep you focused.

There are four main ways to get a TAP:

  1. On the UW campus, attend Transfer Thursdays or visit the Office of Admissions
  2. If you live in Washington and attend a Washington community college, pick up a copy in your transfer center or advising office.
  3. Download a copy now: Complete booklet 3MB
  4. Request that a copy be sent to you by postal mail.
