All new freshman and transfer students must satisfy an English language proficiency requirement upon enrolling at the Seattle campus of the University of Washington. Applicants may wish to review the English language proficiency requirement so they will know what to expect when they enroll at the UW.
U.S. applicants. Proof of English language proficiency is not an admission requirement.
International applicants. Minimum test scores are required to be considered for admission. Please read more about the admission process.
