You may submit the paper application to the UW Admissions Office for spring quarter admission only if you are also applying for spring quarter direct entry to the programs listed below. To apply to the university, direct entry applicants to these programs should print the PDF version of the university application and submit the paper application and required documents prior to December 15. Direct entry applicants must also submit a departmental application to the program; check department websites for instructions.
The following departments admit new transfer students for spring quarter only:
- Bioengineering
- Chemical Engineering

Attention: Bioengineering and Chemical Engineering Transfer Applicants Only
International transfer applicants who are already in the U.S. and meet department admission requirements, may submit the paper application to the UW Admissions Office for spring quarter only if they are also applying for spring quarter direct entry to either Bioengineering or Chemical Engineering. Admission to the University for spring quarter will be contingent on direct admission to either the Bioengineering or Chemical Engineering department.
To apply to the university, direct entry applicants to Bioengineering or Chemical Engineering should print the PDF version of the application for international undergraduate admission and submit it along with all other required documents prior to December 15. Applicants will need to write in “Spring Quarter 2012” for question C-1 on the paper application for the Office of Admissions. Direct entry applicants must also submit a departmental application to Bioengineering or Chemical Engineering. Check the department website for application instructions.
